Avolta, a leading company in the Food & Beverage industry, is currently seeking a Country Finance Manager to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the Country Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations, as well as overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management for the entities within your scope.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial reports for both Group and local statutory purposes. You will also coordinate external audits, prepare financial budgets/forecasts, analyze business performance metrics, and propose corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, you will manage cash/liquidity at the entity level following global/regional guidelines and ensure timely filing of tax returns. Your role will involve liaising with Global Shared Services to optimize service levels and coordinating relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting along with 7-10 years of experience in senior finance roles within the Food & Beverage sector. Proficiency in IFRS/Local GAAP, SAP Central Finance/SAP Group Reporting or SAP BPC tools is required. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with inventory control and margin analysis, as well as exceptional communication abilities are essential for success in this role. Fluency in English is a must, while knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous.
