Internal Audit Specialist

As an Internal Audit Specialist at Chalhoub Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring independent assurance over internal controls by assessing compliance with company policies & procedures, evaluating management systems' effectiveness, and managing business risks effectively. Responsibilities include understanding current processes & procedures, executing internal audit work efficiently while mitigating risks appropriately, preparing detailed audit programs for projects, building relationships with stakeholders for information retrieval during audits, evaluating controls and processes through tests while documenting findings accurately.

To succeed in this role at Chalhoub Group, you should have 3 to 5 years of internal audit experience with exposure to the retail industry or big four companies dealing with retail clients. Additionally, completion of at least 1 CIA part or active pursuit of CIA certification is required along with sound knowledge of IIA standards accounting principles & IFRS standards. Proficiency in audit tools/software usage along with strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all levels of management.

• 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2 years in the retail industry or big four companies with exposure to retail clients.
