Internal Audit Specialist

The Internal Audit Specialist at Chalhoub Group is responsible for delivering independent and objective assurance over internal controls by assessing compliance with company policies & procedures, effectiveness of management systems, and risk management. They will understand current processes, execute internal audit work effectively, build relationships with stakeholders, evaluate processes and controls, prepare audit reports, and work on special projects as directed. The role requires 3-5 years of internal audit experience, including exposure to the retail industry or big four companies. A strong knowledge of IIA standards and accounting principles is essential.

• 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2 years in the retail industry or big four companies with exposure to retail clients.
• Completed at least 1 CIA part or actively pursuing CIA certification.
• Sound knowledge of IIA standards, accounting principles, and IFRS standards.

• - Strong knowledge of internal controls.
• - Excellent communication and listening skills.
• - Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• - Experience in using audit and analytical tools and software.
