The Deluxe Hotel in Dubai is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our guests. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the coffee station
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any guest concerns or inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
- Follow health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee station
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling
