Doble Engineering, a leading company in the electrical engineering industry, is seeking a Regional Sales Director (RSD) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Sales group leadership team, the RSD will report directly to the Vice President of Sales EMEA/APAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers within the assigned region. This role involves strategic planning, sales management, mentoring and training the regional team, proposals and quotations, forecasting, orders processing, profit margin accountability, and overseeing representative sales channels.
The RSD will play a crucial role in establishing sales plans and strategies for target industries and territories while supporting corporate strategic sales and marketing programs. They will provide strategic leadership to drive sales opportunities that meet annual order and revenue targets. Additionally, the RSD will work closely with Offer Management and Engineering to contribute to the successful launch of new products across the region. This position requires strong executive presence at customer engagements and collaboration with various departments such as Sales Operations, Technical Sales Engineers, Finance, HR etc., ensuring seamless communication across teams.
We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in business or related fields with 8-10 years of successful direct solution sales experience in High Voltage Electrical Engineering industry. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of direct sales management experience along with knowledge of test and measurement industry applications. Proficiency in modern sales management tools such as CRM systems is essential. Strong business acumen coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills are highly valued traits for this role. Fluency in English is required along with willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
