J10 Consulting, a reputable consultancy firm in Dubai, UAE, is currently seeking a highly experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be involved in prestigious high-rise and mall projects across the Emirates. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record as a Lead/Principal Structural Engineer on large-scale projects in the UAE and wider GCC region, ideally with experience working for recognized Project Management Consultancies (PMC) or Developers.
As a Principal Structural Engineer at J10 Consulting, you will be responsible for the technical and design management of structural packages, both permanent and temporary works. You will autonomously oversee the technical aspects of projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and design teams. Understanding the commercial aspects of projects such as contracts, invoicing, and variations is essential. Additionally, you will be involved in producing 2D sequencing drawings, 3D models, and 4D sequencing models prepared by the VDC/BIM team.
The role also involves analyzing and sequencing the construction of concrete/steel structures, researching and developing construction methodologies suitable for various project activities, developing logistics strategies and construction programs. Regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential risks are part of the job responsibilities. Compliance with all policies and procedures is crucial to ensure project success. This position offers an initial 3-6 month contract opportunity for immediate joining as an outsource employee by J10 Consulting.
