Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager at our Dubai Head Office, the Senior Financial Controller will take charge of controlling functions for one of our esteemed brands. This role involves overseeing the full closing and budget processes while conducting thorough business analysis. Collaborating closely with both Regional and HQ teams is essential to ensure accurate reporting and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities of this role include leading monthly and annual closings for retail entities in line with Group requirements and IFRS standards. The Senior Financial Controller will also manage the entire budget process by coordinating with various departments to forecast financial aspects effectively. Additionally, analyzing store performance metrics against competitors on a regular basis is crucial for strategic planning purposes.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Finance or related field along with 5 to 7 years of relevant finance experience encompassing Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling, and Reporting. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success in this role. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint is required, while prior experience in Retail or Luxury Goods Industry would be advantageous.
