Senior Manager- Credit, Portfolio Management & Policy

The incumbent will have a dual role of portfolio management responsibilities and credit underwriting. This role will require significant interaction with various internal & external stakeholders of CRM.

As part of portfolio management, he / she will:

- Undertake regular sector / portfolio reviews with the support of the respective credit managers managing each sector.
- Work with the CCO and senior credit managers in finalizing Wholesale / retail Credit Risk Management Policies and Processes.
- Support CCO in reviewing and finalizing papers for the various governance forums including, Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC), Board Risk Committee (BRC), and Board Credit Committee (BCC).
- Support CRM team in liaising with internal and external auditors, Central Bank, Rating Agencies etc.
- Any other portfolio management matters.

As an experienced Credit Manager, he/she will act as a leave cover / back up for credit approvals for the Senior Credit Managers. In this role the incumbent will have delegated credit approval authority.

Key Result Areas:

- Perform portfolio management activities across various dimension of Sector, region, country, division etc. for wholesale credit portfolio.
- Review and enhancement of Credit Risk Management Policies and credit lending guidelines for wholesale credit portfolio Management.
- Enhancements and maintenance of presentation inputs for credit risk management committees and forums. e.g., Enterprise Risk Committed (ERC), Board Risk Committee (BRC), Board Credit Committee (BCC) and Early Alert committee etc.
- Development and Maintenance of credit committee’s charters and terms of references (TOR).
- Manage internal and external audits, CB inspections, Presentation for rating agency from CRM perspective.
- Assist in developing training curriculum for in-house training programs (including on-the-job training) for development of credit culture.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience:

- Masters degree / MBA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 15 – 20 years lending experience of which minimum 10 years at managerial levels.
- High degree of lending skills (credit, analytical, judgmental) and geographic locations.
- Strong Leadership Ability.
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
