Management Accountant

Meridian Trade Links UAE Recruitment is a rapidly growing martial arts academy with operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the UK. Our current revenues stand at AED 10 million and are projected to double within four years. As we expand our business, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in Dubai.

As a Management Accountant at Meridian Trade Links UAE Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and driving the automation of bookkeeping processes. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of bookkeeping, implementing tools like Dext and Kudwa for automation, overseeing efficient invoicing and collections via HubSpot, Stripe, and Xero, handling purchasing and payments with end-to-end automation, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports focusing on cash flow and performance metrics, ensuring compliance with accounting standards in the UAE and UK, acting as the main contact for external auditors, working on budgeting and financial forecasting with the CFO, and collaborating across departments to align financial data with company objectives.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong accounting knowledge with experience in financial reporting and compliance. Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Office 365, Google Sheets is required along with knowledge of systems like HubSpot, Stripe, Dext, and Kudwa. Experience in process automation and change management is essential. Excellent communication skills are needed to explain financial data to non-financial teams. An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making is crucial. Attention to detail and organizational skills are also key qualities we are looking for.
