Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a robust and scalable mobile app and web application, selecting appropriate technologies based on extensive experience and product requirements
Design, implement, and maintain APIs for integration with third-party platforms such as Oracle Aconex Construction Project Management Software, Primevera P6, and Asta Powerproject
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, develop roadmaps, and prioritise features
Drive the development of the product to an initial Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
Establish and maintain best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and inclusion
Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that our solutions remain competitive and cutting-edge
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in software development, with a focus on construction industry solutions preferred
Strong expertise in Agile, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and SDLC
Proficiency in cloud architecture, remote teams, and product development
Familiarity with Power BI Dashboards and asset management systems
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
Experience in client-facing tasks and effective communication with clients and stakeholders
Previous experience as a CTO or Tech Lead in a startup environment is highly preferred
Industry-specific experience or certifications (such as LEED, PMP, etc.) are a plus
