Our client, a global specialty and intermediate chemical manufacturer with operations in the US and internationally, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their facility located approximately 50 miles outside of Atlanta, GA. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can provide technical leadership to our Process Engineers while driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in managing, leading, and mentoring the Process Engineering group. Responsibilities include developing and implementing continuous improvement plans, offering technical guidance to production areas, and ensuring that set goals and targets are met consistently. Moreover, the successful candidate will be responsible for upholding safety regulations, policies, and procedures within the facility to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering along with at least 8 years of experience in in-plant manufacturing (preferably within the chemicals sector). Candidates must also possess a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience and have prior exposure to overseeing a Process Engineering team. Familiarity with working in a PSM regulated facility is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence within a manufacturing setting.
