We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team at Aalberts integrated piping systems Americas, Inc. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of industrial ball valves and valve automation products. This role requires a strong technical background in valve technology, particularly ball valves, along with knowledge of national standards such as ASME B16.34 and other industrial product codes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metallurgy as it relates to valve applications and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
As the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include leading engineering change requests for modifications to existing ball valve designs, ensuring compliance with national standards throughout the design process, managing technical design files, developing new industrial ball valve designs using 3D CAD software, creating test reports and assembly procedures, generating bills of materials (BOMs), collaborating with manufacturing teams for production optimization, providing technical support to internal teams and customers, among other duties.
Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and have hands-on experience with ball valve design and manufacturing in an industrial setting. Proficiency in 3D CAD software is required, along with familiarity with national standards governing industrial ball valve design. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across departments.
