We are currently seeking a dynamic Finance Controller to join our team and lead the finance and accounting functions across our group of companies. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Controller will play a crucial role in steering the organization towards its financial goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial leadership and strategy development, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and compliance, evaluating investment opportunities, leading cross-functional teams, managing banking relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, team management, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership and Strategy: Lead financial operations across the group of companies; develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals; provide strategic advice on investments.
2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Design SOPs for financial processes; ensure compliance and efficiency; update SOPs as needed.
3. Investment and Financial Planning: Evaluate investment opportunities; analyze financial data for forecasting.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct procurement, HR, legal departments; collaborate with department heads for aligned goals.
5. Banking and External Relationships: Build strong relationships with banks; negotiate terms for financing solutions.
6. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulations; manage audits.
7. Team Management: Lead finance team; establish KPIs for performance metrics.
8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks; update risk management policies.
