Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing our accounting and management information systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient operations and compliance with internal and external requirements. You will be tasked with producing accurate financial reports, supporting budget preparation, coordinating financial data submissions, and providing valuable insights to management on financial implications of trading practices and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities include managing all accounting systems to produce timely financial reports according to set timelines, implementing robust internal control systems for operational efficiency and compliance with regulations, advising management on financial implications of trading practices, supporting revenue and capital budget preparations, consolidating financial data for reporting deadlines, providing insights for potential acquisitions or disposals, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, supervising accounting staff efficiently, and maintaining high standards of customer interactions.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (a master's degree or MBA is preferred) along with professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management is required with proven expertise in financial reporting standards, budgeting, internal controls within a corporate environment. Strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail accuracy are essential qualities for this role.
