Job Description

As the General Manager at Mondrian Abu Dhabi, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for driving the hotel team towards achieving business objectives in sales, revenue management, guest and employee engagement, and brand marketing. Your duties will include overseeing all operational departments, managing administrative and financial affairs, and ensuring a successful pre-opening phase for the hotel.

Duties & Functions

Your key responsibilities will involve achieving a smooth pre-opening transition for Mondrian Abu Dhabi. You will lead the team in focusing on daily business objectives while contributing strategically to the hotel's development aligned with regional goals. As GM, you will be accountable for optimizing guest experiences, maximizing profits through sales strategies, and identifying growth opportunities within the business. Additionally, you will provide inspirational leadership by developing employees and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a luxury or lifestyle brand setting with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. Strong customer orientation, emotional intelligence, credibility, and leadership skills are essential attributes for this position. A background in Food and Beverage operations is preferred along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
