The Engineer, Electrical Maintenance will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing predictive, preventive, and major maintenance programs for plant equipment/systems within their designated area. By studying equipment failure data and implementing appropriate maintenance strategies, the successful candidate will contribute to improving overall reliability. Conducting troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design reviews on equipment failures will be essential for identifying corrective actions, modifications, or repairs needed. Additionally, the Engineer will provide field support and guidance to other team members to ensure adherence to correct maintenance procedures.
In this role, the Engineer will also be responsible for reviewing material requirements, spare parts inventory levels, and obsolete items within the plant. By providing technical evaluations and inspections for critical items as well as identifying Turn Around (TA) job scopes for major shutdown activities, the Engineer will help ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical maintenance with experience in implementing new technologies to enhance plant reliability standards.
