We are currently seeking a Regional Financial Controller to join our team in Dubai, where you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch controls, accounting, and reporting services across our Middle East operations while enhancing processing efficiency.

As the Regional Financial Controller, you will lead the central accounting team and collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to ensure timely delivery and management of financial reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will include overseeing general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, tax & treasury functions across AME. You will also be responsible for maintaining robust policies and controls throughout the business, leading month-end processes such as balance sheet reconciliations, financial control checklist reviews, and internal audits within the Middle East region.

In addition to managing payroll processes for ME and JA entities along with other AME regions, you will work closely with various stakeholders to drive working capital improvements, ensure accurate FA and inventory accounting in line with group policy, and manage cash forecasting activities. Furthermore, you will liaise with internal/external bodies including audit firms, tax authorities & 3rd party advisors to ensure compliance with Aggreko Head Office standards. As a key member of our team, you will actively contribute to operational excellence initiatives by driving continuous improvement in transaction processing activities through monitoring KPIs.

The ideal candidate for this role holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications (CPA, ACCA), has a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial supervisory role. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with internal/external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
