As the Chief Financial Officer at Air Speed Charter FZE, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various sub-departments such as Budget, Finance, and Accounts. Your duties will include maintaining all company bank accounts, designing and implementing financial policies in consultation with VP Admin (HR), preparing annual budgets, monitoring budgetary expenditures, carrying out internal audits annually, and assisting in external audits by third parties. You will work closely with other VPs/GMs and Line Managers to ensure efficient budget utilization and advise CEO/BOD on cost-cutting measures.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess at least an MBA or CA along with a post-graduate diploma or professional degree in Finance/Accounting. A minimum of 10 years of working experience in a related field within the aviation industry or a large multinational organization with 50-100 employees is required. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in budgeting, financial management, accounting, reporting, formulating/implementing financial policies, and be well-versed in the UAE taxation system.
