We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the efficient management of supplier invoices, petty cash controls, corporate credit card review, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be tasked with vendor creation, submitting invoices after verifying with purchase orders and goods received notes, ensuring timely payments to vendors, maintaining an accurate audit trail, and reporting to finance management.
As a Financial Controller at Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC), your duties will include managing monthly/annual reporting results with analytical submissions for Group reporting, reviewing intercompany transactions and coordinating reconciliations with the shared service team, updating receivables and inventory aging in the BPC system, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing GLs for accuracy, maintaining P&L schedules and expense trackers, overseeing lease contracts in SAP's REFX module, monitoring overdue payable/receivable balances with vendors/customers, managing provisions/accruals in financials, preparing biweekly cash flows/fund utilization reports, monitoring credit card payments/bookings/petty cash management, supporting operational finance matters for the operations team.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Master's/Bachelor's degree in accounting with preference given to those holding a Finance Professional Qualification such as CA or ACCA. Additionally, experience working for a healthcare provider is desirable. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is required.
