As a Financial Analyst at AlephYa Education, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and feasibility studies to identify potential greenfield and M&A opportunities within the education sector. You will develop detailed financial models to assess the viability and financial returns of potential acquisitions and new developments. Additionally, you will support financial, legal, and operational due diligence processes by collaborating with internal teams and external advisors. Your role will also involve assisting in valuation analysis, deal structuring, preparation of investment memos, and presentations for senior management.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or similar roles involving M&A and Greenfield projects. Prior experience in the education sector or real estate development would be advantageous. Strong financial modeling skills along with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases are essential. Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required as well as strong communication skills. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines is crucial. Preferred skills include experience in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) education market, familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing educational investments, as well as strong negotiation and project management abilities.
