As a General Accountant at Almaden Energy FZCO, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws of UAE, and leading key accounting processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits of accounting processes and transactions, handling bookkeeping duties, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data to provide recommendations, collaborating with clients and colleagues, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also lead internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance standards are met, monitor monthly close processes including journal entries and reconciliations, prepare detailed financial reports for management, propose initiatives for enhancing financial reporting processes through automation solutions, and stay updated on changes in accounting regulations. The ideal candidate for this role should be a Female CPA with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards along with excellent analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications is required as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
