As an Accountant at Apave International, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes managing general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, forecasting, tax payments and returns. You will play a crucial role in preparing journal transactions, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, and working closely with both internal and external auditors to provide necessary information. Additionally, you will collaborate with country accounts personnel to meet monthly closing deadlines for timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of seven (7) years of previous accounting and tax experience. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with both internal and external clients in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Oracle or D365 is required. The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are key competencies needed for success in this role. As an integral part of our team, you will also support in VAT return preparation, annual financial statement preparation, budgeting processes, and ongoing review of accounting policies and procedures.
