We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team at our office in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate accounting records and assisting with the preparation of financial statements for our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant at Ares Accounting FZCO DMCC, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining up-to-date accounting records and ledgers.
- Performing bank reconciliations and managing client and supplier accounts.
- Contributing to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Assisting the accounting team with daily tasks.
- Filing and organizing accounting documentation, records, and information.
In addition to your accounting duties, you will also be involved in commercial activities such as managing leads and prospects, presenting the company's services to potential clients, preparing commercial proposals, and following up with existing client accounts.
Education and Skills:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in English and French (reading, writing, speaking).
- Previous experience working in the UAE is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
