We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant to manage core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will oversee reconciliations, amortization, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and audit support. Responsibilities include accurately recording daily financial transactions in the general ledger, performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually, managing amortization of prepaid expenses and intangible assets, maintaining the fixed asset register by ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation among others.
The qualified candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional certification (CA, CPA preferred) along with a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems is required alongside proficiency in Oracle accounting software. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, communication skills as well as time management abilities are essential for this role.
