Job Purpose:

Responsible for leading and directing the Finance function of ADG, ensuring appropriate governance, policies and procedures are in place to protect the integrity of all financial transactions and safeguard the financial interest of the Group.


Responsibilities:

Lead all financial activities and manage the finance team across the group.
Lead the preparation of periodic financial statements of ADG and subsidiaries in an accurate and timely manner.
Lead the general ledger accounting entries are accurate and ensure the co-ordination with different departments to reconcile general ledger and prepare financial reports as required
Lead all financial disputes are analyzed and memos are prepared for specific cases.
Lead all the accounting work on inter-company reconciliation and ensure the coordination with subsidiaries to resolve the pending issues pertaining to accounting and finance department.
Lead all bank and GLs reconciliations and ensure there are proper communication channels with the banks in order to deal with any particular details regarding bank recons.
Provide financial expertise within the organization, ensuring compliance to local regulations and implementation of Group accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure maximum optimization of assets in line with corporate policies and practices (fixed, current, liabilities, cash flows) whilst protecting the legal interests of ADG.
Lead ADG’s financial planning across the group and coordinate preparation of local business plans, budgets and forecasts in line with corporate and regional guidelines.
Drive the risk management analysis activities performed by the Finance Department through analyzing the liabilities and investments of the group.
Lead ADG’s cashflow level is maintained to always support the group’s operations.
Lead the revision and selection of the investment strategies to be implemented by ADG while taking into consideration cash and liquidity risks.
Lead the group’s Finance IT System is functioning as needed and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Lead the preparation of reliable current and forecasting reports across the group. AYEDH DEJEM GROUP CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER.
Drive the collaboration with the Investment Management team, to monitor and secure ADG’s fundraising plans and ensure the capital structure is in line with the Group’s investment strategy.
Develop the criteria for investment across applicable business by introducing various hurdle rates and follow up with the business development for adhering on the same.
Lead the best practices are implemented in the financial operations of ADG.
Direct the relationship between external vendors, suppliers etc. across different locations of the group.
Prepare and assess business valuations, feasibility studies, investment proposals, term sheets for the probable investments of ADG.
Meeting probable investors for new business opportunities, potential ventures, franchise deals, agency deals, etc.
Arranging bank facilities and securing funds for the probable investment plans.
Explore the opportunities to create new sources of revenue and improve existing revenue streams.
Ensue return on investment is maximized by applying best industry practices
.Should act as advisory to the Chairman & CEO on the financial matter and carry out due diligence as and when required in the organization for management to take decision.
Assess & conduct through due diligence for any type of strategic partnership that are introduce to the ADG.
Assess & manage all type of JV contract negotiation to maximize the financial profitability for ADG.


Experience & Qualifications:

▪ Minimum of 14 years of experience in the real estate industry with 3 years minimum into the role of managing Group Finance
▪ Proficiency in financial ERP (e.g., YARDI) would be an advantage.
▪ Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field.
▪ Valid licenses from Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from USA or Accredited Charted Accountant (ACA) level 1 and 2 from the UK is mandatory.


Work Experience
▪ Minimum of 14 years of experience in the real estate industry with 3 years minimum into the role of managing Group Finance
▪ Proficiency in financial ERP (e.g., YARDI) would be an advantage
