As an Accountant at Bentley Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring local compliance within the finance function in the UAE. You will also be involved in supporting accounting functions for other territories in the Middle East as part of our growing International Finance Team. Your responsibilities will include executing financial reporting closing procedures, maintaining accurate trial balances in SAP/Workday, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with group and statutory audits. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business initiatives.
To excel in this role, you must have a degree in accounting and possess 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting position. Experience working with multicultural teams is essential, along with a proactive attitude towards suggesting process improvements. Knowledge of Workday Finance, SAP, and Blackline is advantageous. An understanding of international accounting standards such as US GAAP and IFRS will also be beneficial for this role. You will work closely with international controllers and general ledger accountants while handling ad hoc inquiries for the UAE.
