Bird & Bird, a leading international law firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Assistant to join the Accounts team in our Abu Dhabi office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional accounting service for both our Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing a new accounts payable system. The Accounts team in the UAE consists of six professionals specializing in management and financial accounting, billing, partner accounting, pricing, and more. Collaborating across our 32 international offices, the team is dedicated to driving efficiency, adding value, and promoting profitable growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you should possess a 'can do' attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within the role. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach to work will be essential as you handle various tasks related to legal accounts such as accounts payable and cashiering. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial as you build constructive relationships with individuals at different levels of seniority from diverse cultures. Proficiency in VAT regulations, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also required.
