As the Financial Controller at Chalhoub Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the monthly financial reporting and control cycle of the ERP Transformation Business Unit. Your primary focus will be on leveraging and optimizing ERP systems to enhance financial forecasting and reporting outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. You will drive process improvements within the finance function, coordinate budget processes with other departments, refine management reporting to evaluate key performance indicators, and analyze cost variances to ensure business profitability.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to ensure operational efficiency, adherence to budget projections, implementation of internal control procedures, and preparation of detailed financial analyses. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing economic objectives for the Group, preparing reports on financial positions based on past, present, and future operations, recommending benchmarks for measuring divisional performance, compiling daily financial information for analysis, and providing finance advisory to support strategic decision-making.
