Manager, Accounting Policy And Controls

Charterhouse is a global company currently seeking a Manager of Accounting & Process Improvements for their regional office in Dubai. As a leading organization, we prioritize accuracy and compliance in financial statements while emphasizing policy and governance controls within our finance function. The successful candidate will oversee month-end and year-end accounting cycles, manage tax obligations across jurisdictions, and implement mitigation procedures to ensure timely filing. Additionally, this role will focus on process review and policy implementation to maintain robust systems and controls for efficient accounting processes.

To excel in this role, candidates must be professionally qualified Chartered Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with a background in Big Four audit firms. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of post-qualified experience in technically-geared accounting and operational finance positions is required. Knowledge of governance controls, compliance management, and reporting systems is essential. Candidates should also possess expertise in regional tax policies including VAT and corporate tax regulations, along with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively and implement change management strategies.
