As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing business performance through financial planning, analysis, and decision support. Your responsibilities will include conducting complex financial analysis, valuations, and forecasting to provide insights on trends, cost optimization, and risk assessment. You will be tasked with preparing financial reporting materials such as budget forecasts and quarterly reports while supporting corporate development initiatives like business planning, acquisitions, and strategic transactions. Collaborating with senior management on financial strategies will be essential to ensure that all decisions are based on accurate data.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred) along with 8-10 years of experience in financial analysis. Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration within the organization. Experience with Yardi or similar financial systems is preferred but not mandatory. A background in residential development is a must-have for this position.
