Our client, a global, independent market leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Financial Controller to join their leadership team in the United Arab Emirates. As the Financial Controller, you will lead the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting while maintaining compliance with local regulations, IFRS, and Group policies. You will also play a crucial role in annual budgeting, periodic forecasting processes, and providing stakeholders with necessary reports and information responses.

In addition to financial accounting responsibilities, you will act as a strong business partner to the site management team to drive business growth, increase profitability and cash flow while achieving the Group's objectives. Your support will extend to analyzing business results, preparing presentations for business reviews with local management teams and Group leaders, assisting the Commercial team in securing new business opportunities efficiently, supporting Operations with insightful analysis on costs and variances.

Furthermore, as part of your role's compliance aspect, you will ensure adherence to local regulations and Group policies such as Code of Ethics and implement key controls according to standards. You will evaluate business processes for efficiency improvements while identifying risks and collaborating with stakeholders on mitigation strategies. Collaboration with internal and external auditors is essential for delivering desired outcomes.

Key Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control and reporting in a multinational organization
