Commercial Bank International, a leading financial institution in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a talented Manager Financial Control to join our dynamic team. As the Manager Financial Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records through effective General Ledger management, reconciliations, and internal controls.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the General Ledger (GL) by performing periodic reviews, assigning ownership for GL accounts, and ensuring balance sheet substantiation. You will also conduct daily variance analysis to identify anomalies and irregularities, perform GL reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and coordinate with branches to enhance reconciliation processes. Additionally, you will lead internal control testing for financial reporting, monitor compliance with ICFR requirements, and assist in the annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to evaluate key risks.
Furthermore, as the Manager Financial Control at CBI, you will drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. You will identify inefficiencies in financial control processes, implement automation solutions for reconciliation and reporting, and collaborate with IT teams to enhance system controls. Your expertise in finance and accounting concepts, along with your professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA), will be instrumental in supporting our organization's growth and success.
