We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with expertise in UAE corporate tax, VAT regulations, IFRS compliance, and managing key accounting functions. As the Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing our accounting team to ensure high performance levels and productivity. Providing guidance, mentoring, and support to team members will be crucial in achieving departmental goals effectively.
In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards. Additionally, you will manage tax compliance by ensuring adherence to UAE corporate tax and VAT regulations through accurate preparation and review of tax filings and related documentation. Monitoring accounts receivable and payable processes while implementing efficient cash flow management practices will also be part of your responsibilities. You will conduct periodic reviews of balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
The ideal candidate for this position must possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA or CMA with at least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance focusing on UAE corporate tax, VAT regulations, accounts receivable/payable management, and balance sheet reconciliation. Strong leadership skills along with excellent analytical abilities are essential for this role. Proficiency in accounting software systems is required as well as exceptional communication skills.
