Accounts Payable Accountant

As an Accounts Payable Accountant with us, you will be responsible for handling the accounts payable function independently. This includes processing invoices and vendor payments promptly, particularly for car-related expenses and other miscellaneous items. You will also ensure timely payments for critical services such as Salik, utilities, and advertisement costs. Additionally, you will be expected to coordinate closely with the Operations department to track LPOs and invoices while actively following up on outstanding payments.

Furthermore, your role will involve active participation in month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate postings and updating of Balance Sheet schedules. You will assist the Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant in preparing monthly MIS reports and provide support during both external and internal audits. The ideal candidate for this position should have 2-3 years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting, possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrate knowledge of best practices and regulatory compliance in accounts payable processes, excel under high-volume work environments, exhibit strong attention to detail and communication skills, showcase a proactive attitude with problem-solving abilities, hold certifications in accounts payable (e.g., CPAs), be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, and have strong Excel skills for effective data management.

• 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable within a corporate environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, knowledge of accounts payable best practices, certification in accounts payable (e.g., CPAs, APICS) is a plus

• Handling accounts payable function independently
• Ensuring payment of critical services on a timely basis
