Chief Operating Officer

Our company, a leading classifieds vertical in the MENA region, is dedicated to empowering users with tools and information to make informed car-buying decisions. We are currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive our exponential growth into the future. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead one of the fastest-growing portals in the region.

As the COO, you will be tasked with crafting and executing our business strategy while taking full ownership of our overall business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include participating in setting companywide revenue-generating strategies aligned with our vision. You will develop strategies and tactics for key areas such as HR, Marketing, Sales, Technology, Product, Operations, and Finance.

Additionally, you will translate these strategies into actionable plans with specific goals and timelines. It is crucial that these plans are measurable and realistic, encompassing revenue and expense projections along with methods for achieving them. As a leader within our organization, you will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent, providing training and mentorship opportunities to ensure team excellence.

Furthermore, your role involves setting SMART objectives, monitoring performance metrics, maintaining accountability across teams, and consistently delivering exceptional results that exceed planned outcomes. Continuous learning, assessment of processes, and innovation are key components of this position as we strive to develop global best-in-class products and services. The ideal candidate for this position should have proven leadership experience in General Management, Sales, Marketing or Product roles within an established business. Extensive experience in managing online operations is essential along with prior exposure to the classifieds industry—particularly within the auto sector would be advantageous.
