Our company, a leading financial services firm in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our finance department by overseeing various key responsibilities. This includes setting up month-end closing processes, preparing consolidation files and lead schedules, conducting detailed reviews of roll forwards for various assets and liabilities, performing trend reviews on the Group P&L, and preparing monthly AR exemption reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing Stat vs GAAP reconciliations, completing Hyperion schedules uploads, carrying out inter/intra company reviews, and assisting with FP&A consolidation and analysis.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA/CA/ACCA part qualified preferred) along with at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis. Knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP reporting standards is desirable. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required, with skills in Hyperion & Oracle being an added advantage. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role. The ability to think creatively, work well under pressure in deadline-driven environments, maintain high levels of accuracy and organization, as well as being self-motivated are qualities we value in potential candidates.
