Our company, a leading financial services firm in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant with us, you will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day accounting tasks for both the company and our diverse portfolio of clients.
In this role, your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, consolidating financial reports, and generating management reports. You will also be involved in VAT registration, de-registration, and return filings, as well as assisting the team with any VAT-related queries. Additionally, you will compile and analyze account information to record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries accurately. Your expertise will be essential in reconciling bank accounts, balancing subsidiary accounts, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.
The ideal candidate for this position must hold a certification such as ACCA, CIMA, UAECA or an equivalent qualification. With at least 5 years of UAE experience in financial accounting and analysis under their belt, they should possess a strong understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Excellent analytical skills are required for this role, along with advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including MS Outlook and Tally ERP. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are also essential qualities we are looking for in our Senior Accountant.
