Our company, a leading player in the Oil & Gas industry based in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Financial Business Controller to join our dynamic team. We are committed to excellence in financial governance and operational efficiency. As the key Finance Business Partner to the General Manager, you will drive financial strategies that align with our company standards, support revenue generation, optimize costs, enhance cash flow, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Finance Shared Services to ensure accurate accounting transaction services according to Service Level Agreements. You will prepare annual audited financial statements in line with Group Accounting Standards and collaborate with external auditors. Additionally, you will provide input into business plans and budgets while conducting financial forecasting and performance reporting through insightful variance analysis. Internal controls implementation, corrective action planning for adverse performance, investment appraisal reviews, cost management within budgets, and supply chain advice are also key responsibilities.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess expertise in ERP Oracle and MS Office along with knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Hyperion. Strong financial planning skills, analytical abilities, process improvement experience, strategic planning capabilities, quality management expertise, compelling communication skills, negotiating prowess, exemplary financial management skills are essential. A minimum of 10 years' finance experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role is required. Experience in multi-business environments or MNCs within the Oil & Gas/Energy industry is preferred.
