As a Planning Engineer at Diamond Meat Processing LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials necessary for production. Your responsibilities will include determining required materials, generating purchase requests daily, and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products. You will be tasked with tracking production volume, monitoring customer demand patterns, and purchasing trends to maintain consistent and adequate material supply. Additionally, you will manage inventory issues, schedule changes, cancellations, and conduct periodic studies to update re-ordering standards in line with our goal of reducing storage costs.

Conducting time motion studies for machineries, setting standard capacities based on products, analyzing capacity utilization in machines are also key aspects of your role. By proposing new or revised manufacturing processes that utilize best practices to increase reliability and sharing daily PR loss with concerned departments during Daily Distribution System meetings.
