We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing works on site by contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing contractor's payment applications, preparing reports for clients and higher management, conducting day-to-day inspections of works on site, and verifying the conformity of execution with project specifications.
As a Civil Engineer at Diar Consult, you will be expected to apply the best updated practices related to all roles and responsibilities of the Resident Engineer on site. This includes liaising with local authorities and other project stakeholders, attending meetings as needed, handling technical tests, reviewing reports and submittals, and ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of progress achieved on site, staff attendance, storage facilities, material deliveries, and more.
Ideal candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, along with a proven track record of managing construction projects effectively.
