In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations for the entire group. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting while managing finance back-office functions like GL, AP, AR, and Tax through shared services. Collaborating closely with business unit leaders and senior management, you will play a key role in preparing annual budgets and forecasts aligned with the company's financial goals. Additionally, you will provide financial guidance on performance metrics, cost optimization strategies, profitability analysis, evaluate potential business opportunities for new investments or initiatives.
As an ideal candidate for this position, you should hold a degree in Accounting/Finance along with professional certifications such as CA or ACCA. With over 10 years of relevant experience within the Finance department of a large corporation (preferably Big 4 firm experience), extensive knowledge of IFRS standards application is essential. Experience in VAT implementation/management along with strong systems exposure including ERP systems like Oracle or Hyperion/FCCS is highly preferred. Your leadership skills should be exceptional to mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning and development.
