We are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Planning Manager to join our team and drive business growth through strategic commercial planning.
As the Senior Commercial Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic commercial plans that optimize revenue and align with our overall objectives. Your role will involve reviewing and approving profit & loss statements, validating financial assumptions, implementing pricing models, and monitoring cash flow to ensure healthy financial operations. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with business goals to maximize sales turnover.
Key responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, providing regular reports on commercial activities, supporting budget analysis, and identifying potential risks to commercial operations. You will collaborate closely with various teams such as business development, finance, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of commercial plans. Furthermore, you will encourage the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance commercial performance.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent, along with professional certification in accountancy (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA etc.). You should have at least 10 years of experience in commercial planning and pricing within public/private organizations. Experience in pricing and commercial planning in a defense engineering organization is highly desirable. Strong technical skills in financial analysis & reporting, contracts management, financial planning & budgeting, cost accounting, and commercial awareness are essential for success in this role.
