We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist in Financial Planning & Analysis to join EDGE Acquisition's dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the FP&A Manager to support financial planning and analysis activities by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial reports; conducting variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights; developing and maintaining financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making; collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance forecasting accuracy; contributing to digitalization initiatives focusing on automation and AI-enhanced reporting; and ensuring effective alignment with other EDGE entities while handling ad hoc requests from EDGE GROUP and EDGE Acquisition Leadership.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field along with at least 8 years of experience in FP&A ideally within the defense or manufacturing sector. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, while familiarity with SAP would be advantageous. Experience with financial digitalization tools and AI finance solutions is also preferred. Strong analytical skills coupled with keen attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
