As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen management, menu creation, quality control, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Working closely with the Executive Sous Chef, you will drive innovation and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your key result areas will include optimizing kitchen operations, developing innovative menus for First & Business Class lounges, leading and mentoring a diverse culinary team, managing resources efficiently while maintaining premium quality, ensuring compliance with safety and quality SOPs, addressing customer feedback effectively, and collaborating with senior management on continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management with a minimum of 8 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hospitality environments. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role with a proven track record in high-volume food production settings. Demonstrated expertise in menu development, cost control strategies, and kitchen management for multiple outlets is essential for success in this role. Cultural sensitivity and operational efficiency are crucial attributes required to navigate the complexities of airport logistics and regulatory compliance effectively.
