We are currently seeking a diligent Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide weekly and monthly reporting on key performance measures by analyzing variances and offering valuable insights. This includes conducting GP margin analysis, supporting month-end processes by reviewing GL entries and overhead budget variances, as well as examining Segment and Store P&Ls for any discrepancies against budget and prior year performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with Commercial Finance Managers to assist in preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets while continuously improving data presentation methods and result interpretation.
The successful candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial or analytical roles with proficiency in Excel demonstrated through practical application. Strong capabilities in handling and analyzing large datasets are essential for this role. Attention to detail is paramount in ensuring data accuracy and robust analysis.
