We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the signage and outdoor media advertising industry for a senior-level position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the company. This includes tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and leading financial teams. Knowledge of UAE tax matters is essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include managing financial planning and analysis processes by preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans. The Chief Accountant will also handle financial reporting tasks ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax laws. Monitoring cash flow, managing expenses effectively, reconciling accounts monthly, optimizing accounting processes through automation tools are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decision-making is essential.
Qualified candidates should hold a CA, CMA or ACCA qualification with 10-15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the signage and outdoor media advertising industry on a leading or managerial level is required. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zohobooks, SAP or MS-Dynamics is necessary along with strong soft skills like communication abilities leadership qualities.
