As a Site Mechanical Engineer at Engineering Consortium Consulting Engineers, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of mechanical engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing material submittals, shop drawings, builder's drawings, and coordinating with the design team to resolve any conflicts that may arise. You will also be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical parts prior to installation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support to contracts engineers on trend notices, variations, and claims.

In this role, you will liaise with contractors, project engineers, client representatives, and management to address any issues that may arise during the project. You will monitor mechanical installations for safety compliance and ensure that only approved materials are used in the permanent works. Your ability to review method statements, quality control procedures, inspection plans, and expedite necessary approvals from relevant authorities will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects. • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience working on construction projects
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC systems

• Review material submittals, shop drawings, builder’s drawings, and as-built drawings
• Attend technical meetings with contractors and progress meetings on a weekly basis
• Coordinate with design team to resolve conflicts
