We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Strategic Finance Associate to join our expanding Finance team based in London. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to engage in pivotal projects that intersect finance, strategy, and the development of renewable energy. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be instrumental in shaping Fuse Energy's financial strategies, aiding key corporate development endeavors, and driving long-term value creation.
As a Strategic Finance Associate at Fuse Energy, your primary responsibilities will include supporting capital raising initiatives by preparing investor presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials for equity and debt fundraising efforts. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing financial risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's fiscal health within the dynamic energy market landscape. You will also play a crucial role in identifying potential M&A opportunities for renewable energy assets through market research, financial analysis, and transaction execution support. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential as you contribute to long-term strategic planning by analyzing market trends and financial performance for informed decision-making purposes.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; advanced qualifications such as CFA certification or an MBA are advantageous. A minimum of 2 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or strategic finance is required. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques along with exceptional analytical skills are vital for success in this position.
