Senior Accountant

GCG Structuring, a prominent service provider in the UAE, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee both in-house and client accounting services. As a key member of our team, the ideal candidate will hold an ACCA qualification and possess over 10 years of accounting experience in the UAE under IFRS standards. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing internal financial records, overseeing bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and reconciliations. Additionally, they will prepare in-house financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. The role also entails ensuring VAT & Corporate Tax compliance, managing transfer pricing documentation for tax authorities, and overseeing audit preparation to meet UAE regulatory requirements. Furthermore, the successful candidate will provide outsourced accounting services to clients by conducting discovery calls to assess their financial needs and offer tailored solutions.

In this on-site position based in Dubai, the Senior Accountant will lead a team of two to three remote accountants while reporting directly to the CFO. The individual must demonstrate proficiency in Xero and Excel alongside other accounting software. They will establish clear financial processes and internal controls for efficient operations while providing training and mentoring to the accounting team. • 10+ years of accounting experience in the UAE under IFRS standards
• Experience handling accounting for both in-house operations and external clients
• Background in team management and remote team supervision is a plus
• ACCA qualification (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Familiarity with Free Zone & Mainland business tax structures
