As a Technical Manager specializing in Water & Wastewater Technology at Ghobash Trading & Investment Company, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of water and wastewater treatment projects. From tendering/proposal development to detailed engineering design and support during site execution, you will lead a team of engineers in coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet technical standards and timelines. Your role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management abilities with a solid foundation in process engineering for water and wastewater treatment systems.
Key responsibilities include reviewing project specifications/tender documents to prepare comprehensive Techno-commercial bids for water and wastewater treatment projects, collaborating with sales teams to align proposal strategies with client needs, developing process designs including PFD P&ID, mass balance calculations, equipment sizing for various systems such as desalination, ultrafiltration, STP, ETP etc., ensuring detailed engineering documents meet client requirements and industry standards. You will also coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project designs are implemented according to schedule and quality standards.
In this role, you will provide on-site technical guidance for process start-up, commissioning, performance testing, conduct site visits for project assessments and quality inspections. Additionally, you will liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of project deliverables while complying with industry standards, regulatory requirements, safety protocols. As the main point of contact for technical inquiries from clients and regulatory authorities, you will play a crucial role in maintaining effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
