As an Assistant Manager in our Internal Finance Service Line, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence within the firm. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, contributing to finance projects, providing insights on working capital and financial performance, leading and developing the local finance team, delivering training on best practices, conducting profitability reviews, participating in ad hoc projects, and actively contributing to strategic initiatives.

To be successful as an Assistant Manager at Grant Thornton - UAE, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field along with 7+ years of experience in Big 4 firms or management accounting within global organizations in the Middle East. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI as well as modern accounting software like Microsoft D365 or SAP/Oracle is essential. Strong written and spoken English skills are required while Arabic speaking abilities would be advantageous.
